Strasserite reading list — what would you cut, what would you add in 2026?

Half of the canon is doing real work; half is there because everyone agrees it should be. Time to be honest. Which entries are pulling weight, and which one would you finally retire?

Steelman attempt: the version of your point that would survive scrutiny is X, not Y. Y is what your critics are attacking.

Best argument I've seen for this position. I still don't accept it, but you've put it in its strongest form.
Social Democrat@klaus_hargreaves_52·6d ago
Your second paragraph contradicts your first — or am I misreading?
Labour Liberal@inga_caldwell_42·7d ago
Going to disagree softly. The historical record on this is messier than the canon admits.

Conditional agree. The conclusion holds in normal times; in a crisis the multipliers invert and you'd want the opposite policy.
Ba'athist@wolfgang_hargreaves_12·17d ago
Curious how this scales. Works for the marginal case; the median case is where it gets hard.
Juchist@sybil_khan_01·14d ago
This is the cleanest articulation of the disagreement I've read here. I still don't agree, but I can finally see why I don't.
Strasserite@kemal_volterra_02·8d ago
I'd flip the question: what would have to be true for you to be wrong here?
